4 I know that some of you would disagree with me purely on the point that Christianity is a religion and not an “educational topic”. I see only that you are exhibiting bias in order to make your own point. A person’s core beliefs are the framework from which all other beliefs must be formed. For instance, what use is it for me to learn about the theory of evolution in school if I am a Christian? I would learn what evolutionists believe, and I could probably even make a good grade on the test, but it really hasn’t helped me any. I’m now, in my opinion, dumber and older with no benefit. Learning that hasn’t helped me develop into a more complete and productive person that can benefit the society in which I live. Were I to learn more about what I believe and how that relates to the theory of evolution and how despite my disagreement I can still interact with someone who agrees with the theory of evolution, I have now become a much more productive person in society. I have learned how to learn, evaluate various beliefs and theories, assimilate the one I agree with and still work with another person who disagrees with my choice. (And yes, I assure you, I am not a genious. This analysis was quite easily attained just by thinking with my brain. I realize some people still don’t know what that is, but let me tell you, it is pretty cool!)
